Last Saturday I went to the beach. Khae wanted to go to the beach, but
she didn’t know how to get there. I asked her to join me. We made a
few sandwiches the night before and some cold tea. We woke up early
so we could catch the 8:00 a.m. train. We were late for the train, so we
had to catch the next one. Unfortunately, the tain broke in the middle
of the trip! We had to wait for a new train to arrive. It took a little time!
We had to stay inside the broken train. It was hot. A few people on the
train got upset and started yelling at the train conductor. Luckily, a new
train arrived soon after. When we finally got to the beach, it was
amazing! The water was blue and cold, and the sand was warm. We
carried two beach chairs and an umbrella up to the water. We relaxed,
swam in the ocean, talked, and laughed. We also made a few new
friends. We stayed there until it got dark. The train back was fast. And it
didn’t break! When we got home, we had a bit of time to make dinner
and catch a late movie.
